Feature
User management: the right access for every role
Delivery fleets have high turnover and mixed staff — couriers, mechanics, hub leads, partner teams. RideControl scopes every user to a node in the group tree and records handovers and offboarding per person.

Access
Roles scoped to groups
What user management does
- Role per user: courier, mechanic, hub lead, manager, partner staff.
- Access scoped to a node in the group tree and everything below it.
- Unlimited users on every plan — you license vehicles, not seats.
- Handovers recorded: which vehicle, fob and assets a person holds.
- Offboarding in one place, so leaving staff lose access and return equipment on record.
How it works
Step 1
Create the person
Add the user with their role and the group node they belong to.
Step 2
Grant scoped access
Permissions follow the tree, so no manual per-screen configuration is needed.
Step 3
Hand over equipment
Vehicle, keyfob and assets are assigned to the person and recorded.
Step 4
Operate
The user sees only their hub, fleet or client account in every module.
Step 5
Offboard
Access is revoked, fobs are blocked and outstanding equipment is visible on the record.
Who uses it
| Role | What they use it for |
|---|---|
| Hub lead | Onboarding and offboarding couriers each week |
| Operations manager | Access reviews across hubs |
| Partner account manager | Giving a client visibility of their own fleet only |
| Finance | Confirming equipment was returned before final settlement |
Data you get out
- User list per node with roles and status.
- Handover and offboarding history per person.
- Equipment currently held by each user.
- CSV export and API access.
